Yvonne's Cat, Mafia, Needs Urgent Care

Hello friends/family/community:

In August, I took Mafia to the vet for her routine check and found out that there are many new health issues I need to support her through as she reaches 16 years old in February 2025! I have spent most of my savings on China Wine’s (Mafia's sister) end-of-life care and am now financially challenged to support Mafia’s health needs.

Mafia has a tooth that is rotting and causing her a lot of pain. She's no longer able to chew dry food, has difficulty chewing bits in her wet food, and seems to be in a lot of pain before and after eating. She needs a tooth extraction and dental cleaning ASAP so she can resume eating normally and be in less pain.

I have already paid for her bloodwork and echocardiogram to clear her for surgery however these results will only last another month. Otherwise, I will need to repay for all these procedures again. We are aiming to raise $3000 by the end of this month so that Mafia can be treated before mid-January 2025.

My goal is to provide my cat daughter, Mafia, the best quality of life in her super senior season. Mafia deserves only the best. She has been an incredible emotional support and protector for me throughout my time in NYC. My cats have been my main consistent family members for most of my adulthood. Know that supporting Mafia is synonymous with supporting me.
