As many of you already know, Yvonne has been unable work for 11 weeks due to a medically necessary surgery that became a much bigger issue once she contracted a potentially life threatening illness that she has been battling since that surgery. She didn’t have much time to prepare for the initial surgery as it was necessary to take quick action for the condition she had, but she was only expecting to be out of work for two weeks. Unfortunately, Yvonne contracted an illness while in the hospital that has completely taken over her life since. She had to go back into the hospital with severe dehydration and other complications, and once released from the hospital after a week, she has been struggling since including starting on her third round of treatment to fight this condition. She will beat this! She started with a new doctor today specializing in infectious diseases and we have faith that his new course of treatment will get her healed for good this time!

As you can imagine, missing work for 11 weeks can be devastating to one’s emergency safety funds and unfortunately, Yvonne has depleted hers and is experiencing great financial difficulty continuing to keep up with monthly bills, special diet restriction foods including an increase in dietary supplements to aid in her current battle of this condition, and medical expenses.

I know times are financially stressful for all of us in the current inflations we are all experiencing, so I know the gravity of what I am asking, but I am asking for your help to come to Yvonne’s assistance in her time of need. I had wanted to ask for help on her behalf sooner, but Yvonne isn’t one to ask for help, so reluctantly, a weak and defeated Yvonne has finally given her blessing to allow us to give her some support.

Today has been another setback. Yvonne’s A/C started having issues and it’s a $800 repair that’s now needed to fix it. We are praying for her health but also for her luck to get better. This year has been one hit after another. I have increased the target amount now to help aim to cover the costs for this added expense on top of her financial struggles we were already trying to aid with. Thank you everyone!
