Help Me Give My Mum the Goodbye She Deserves

I never imagined I would be writing something like this. My mum passed away suddenly, and I am still in shock trying to process this tragic loss. She was the kind of person who gave everything she had to others, and now I’m finding myself in the difficult position of trying to give her the farewell she deserves.

Because her passing was so unexpected, I wasn’t prepared—emotionally or financially—for the costs that come with arranging a funeral. I currently have no funds available to cover these expenses, and asking for help is incredibly hard for me, but I want to honour my mum in the proper way.

Her passing comes just a year after losing my Grandmother and unfortunately I am now on my own, I unfortunately am not eligible for any Government help as I do work full time and due to an outstanding emergency loan (for my grans boiler) I just can’t get help anywhere.

i have based the goal on an estimate from the funeral director and that’s going it as cheaply as I can. Most importantly I need a £1500 deposit to BOOK the funeral
