Our mom suffered bleeding in her brain on May 26th. As of May 31st, we do not know what caused it. All we know is that she will have to stay in the hospital for the next 2-3 weeks while we figure out what caused the brain bleed and what her road to recovery will look like. While the future looks uncertain, we are so blessed and grateful that she still has full mobility and the ability to recover. Especially since this is not the first time she has been hospitalized due to a brain injury, having been hospitalized in 2017 for a stroke and 2019 for a stroke like episode. While we are hopeful for yet another recovery, we cannot do it without help this time.

We are raising funds to cover the rehab and physical therapy that she will need once she leaves the hospital. Also, to ensure she doesn’t have to worry about any bills as she will not be able to work anytime soon after being discharged. Any remaining amount that we raise will go directly to creating a retirement/emergency fund for her.

Our mom is the most selfless person we know, often helping others before helping herself. She has gone above and beyond to raise us as a single mother, migrating to this country and leaving everything behind to give us a better future. She has cared for others tirelessly to the point of handing out food all while she was suffering from Shingles. There is nothing that will stop her from helping others. She continuously shows up for everyone around her and we hope we can now do the same for her.
