Yvette’s fight with breast cancer
Donation protected
Hello Friends and family,
These past 2 weeks have been a nightmare. My dear friend Yvette received the news we could have never imagined. Yvette has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Needless to say, we are still in shock. Yvette had felt a lump on her right breast; she wanted to make sure she got it checked out. She was sent for a mammogram, then the ultrasound confirmed the mass. The biopsy was done, and unfortunately, it was the news that we were not ready for; stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma. Yvette is 35 years young, her family is devastated. How could this happen to the most selfless person I know, the person that is always looking out for everyone else?
Yvette has a long journey ahead of her, and she is so strong and so positive. She can fight this! She will beat this. We are reaching out to family, friends, and our community to help Yvette get through this journey. Yvette is going to have to have extensive chemo. After chemo, she will have surgery. During this time, Yvette will not be able to work. She is a beautiful mother of 3. The costs that she is will be facing will be extensive medical bills, daily living bills, and continuing to care for her 3 beautiful children. I’d like to take some of the burdens off of her so that she could focus on her treatment and heal. Yvette will not be able to work through her treatment. This page is a way for me to relieve them during this emotionally and physically exhausting time. We know that the holidays are around the corner, we really appreciate any donation you can share.
Any updates will be shared via social media as we receive them. Again, thank you to everyone who can help, we appreciate it, and I know Yvette will be forever grateful.
