Yvette Cormier Terminal Cancer Fund

My amazing, strong, courageous Mom Yvette, has been battling with breast cancer for almost 2 years now. When she was first diagnosed and had to start multiple rounds of chemo which lasted over nine months so she had to quit her job which at the time was that only income they had. Early this year we got the news that moms breast cancer had metastasized to her bones. Although that meant her cancer is now at stage 4, we were hopefully because she was in no pain and had no other symptoms so the prognosis was good.

However, on New Years Eve 2019 we got the new the the cancer has now spread to her brain. There are over to 20 lesions and the cancer has leptomeningeal metastasis (which is a fancy way of saying the cancer has spread to the actual lining of her brain) this is unfortunately a very ominous sign because this could lead to the spread of cancer into her spinal fluid and also means that she is no longer eligible for localized radiation. She will have to have whole brain radiation, where the symptoms of this could be quite severe commonly including substantial memory loss. Unfortunately this diagnosis also means they are estimating only 3-6 month left of life.

After years of doctor visits, chemo therapy,  MD anderson visits and all the testing it has put a substantial financial strain on my parents. We don’t have much time left with her and I really don’t want it to be spent with her worrying about medical bills and finances. I want her to enjoy life without any cares. She has mentioned a couple things that she would like to do as like a bucket list while she is still able to. My mom is my best friend, my rock, my everything. I really want to make the most of her her last months and fulfill everything she wants to do. So I am asking if you can spare anything at all it would be greatly appreciated❤️.
