Hey everyone, my name is TaMar Hicks, and I am looking for your support! I am an avid runner, running for as long as I can remember. I've even had a few glimpses of hope to become a breakout athlete here and there, but now I have the opportunity of a lifetime. I have accomplished something I would have never imagined, and I need your help to see it through!
I recently started competing in a new sport known as obstacle course racing (OCR). It’s similar to my norm, but different in many aspects, yet as of late, I have achieved a tremendous amount of success.
I competed in the Spartan United States National Series and officially qualified for the Spartan World Championship in Abu Dhabi! I am super excited to represent the United States on an international level!
Herein lies my dilemma: I am a new competitor in this game and have no sponsorships. Being an unsponsored athlete means everything is out of pocket.
