Hello, My name is Rickey Williams. I am a 59 year old, 100% disabled veteran. I am a father of five and grandfather of eight. I served my country for almost 10 years and then began to serve my family. About 14 years ago, I began to suffer from chronic kidney disease and a little over a year ago my condition landed me in the hospital. After that hospital visit, I began doing dialysis treatments 3-4 times a week for 3-4 hours each sitting. I have now progressed to at home dialysis, at least 9 hours every night. Although, this gives me more freedom, it is not a permanent solution. I am in need of a kidney transplant.
