Hello,

This GoFundMe is to help provide financial support to Aaron and Taylor as they care for their son Cooper.

Cooper is currently fighting for his life at OSF in Peoria, IL and the harsh reality is that RSV is no joke.

Aaron and Taylor welcomed Cooper on 9/17 @ 31 weeks and after overcoming many milestones and 48 days in the NICU they were able to bring their baby home!!

Fast forward to 11/4; Cooper showed symptoms of RSV and tested negative earlier in the week and after a visit with his speech nurse, Cooper became limp and his oxygen dropped out of nowhere and started to have tracheal tugging and intercostal retractions. Upon arrival to DMH Cooper had a high flow mask on and began going through periods of apnea and was intubated. After stabilizing Cooper was life flighted to Carle Hospital. Upon arrival, Cooper continued to be strong and stable but then began desatting. After hours of fighting, Cooper coded for 5 minutes. With the help of the amazing team at Carle they were able to get him semi stable but needed to be transferred to another hospital with more options.
