No One Fights Alone! Samantha Bucynski

My name is Kahla (Fordyce) Bertoty. Samantha (Sammi) Bucynski and I have been best friends since the summer of 2010 when I drove her home. we sat and talked in her driveway for hours and the rest is history. We have been together since.

In November of 2022 Samantha life changed dramatically. She was informed that she had pre cancer cells and would have to undergo a biopsy on December 22 2022 only three short days before Christmas.

On January 3, 2023 Samantha received the phone call with her results containing the “C” word. Cancer.

Samantha was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer.

This is just the beginning of the journey she will be fighting this year.

On January 5, 2023 ONLY TWO short days after the devastating news. Samantha was in a car accident. Someone crossed over the center line and hit her head on demolishing her car. She’s sustained a Lisfranc fracture dislocation to her right foot, right knee Patella fracture, T8 compression fracture and a left Orbital fracture. She’s underwent two surgeries, countless days in the hospital and numerous doctors appointments to follow. Samantha is non-weight bearing for at least 8 weeks and this is only the beginning of the journey she will be fighting.

Along with all the fight she will encounter. We are looking for help to ease some of the financial burden on Samantha and her family. Let’s show her NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!

Samantha and her fiancé John have become newly engaged on October 8, 2022.

I’ll never forget the phone call and the excitement of when John reached out to me and let me be apart of special occasion of helping him pick out the ring. I was full of excitement and joy for my best friend.

Samantha said YES! To her dress NEW YEARS EVE. Only a few short days before she would get the devastating news. Endometrial Cancer.
