Get Me Back on my Feet

Hello friends, this is Tim. You know me from Brooklyn (Flatbush or Xaverian), Key West, etcetera. I apologize for this craven request for help from you, but you all are my last and only hope.
This year has been one from Hell. I had a slip and fall at home in December, the pain from which built, and I had to take a couplafew extra days off from the car dealership I worked at the end of December, after working there nearly six years.
When I got back right after the New Year, I was unceremoniously terminated on January 2nd. Then the pain in my knee started to build aggressively, ultimately crippling me, so I could barely stand up from the couch to walk to the kitchen.
i lost over 25 pounds, had no appetite, and was in constant pain. Finally, on February 20th, when I could not stand up, an ambulance came and took me to Roper-St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, where I remain to this day. I developed an aggressive Staph Infection in my knee, which blew it up and caused massive pain. I am still recovering.
i have since been evicted. My car had two blowouts and was towed, which is my primary goal here - so that when I get out, I can drive UBER and make some money.
i have to pay two months (plus one) insurance, pay for the tow and storage, and have it brought somewhere to replace the two tires when I get out of here. I also have to keep my phone on, so I can actually drive UBER, while I seek a regular job for when my leg is fully healed, hopefully in a few weeks.
i know none of you owe me anything. I may not be the most sympathetic figure. But I have nowhere else to turn.
If I can raise $2,500, or close to it, I have at least a chance to survive when I get out of here.
i am looking for a local friend to put me up on their couch for the first few weeks, until I can seek new housing. But if I do raise more than my goal, that will go toward a new place.
i can only beg and plead for your help. If you can do a little, God Bless You. If you are one of my many friends who are financially set, if you can do more, I will thank you in my prayers every night.
God Bless You All, and please, please do whatever you can.
thank you.
