My father's name is Will and when there's a Will there's a way! My family and I have been holding onto that phrase for the past few years as my father has overcome many challenging medical conditions.
When my father was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer my mother, my sister, and I were devastated with the news that he had just one year to live, but he wasn't! My father stayed positive and was determined to live life to the fullest and survive. He is now approaching two year since the diagnosis!
Recently, however, things took an unexpected turn. His condition worsened and his positivity has suffered. In addition, my mother lost her job and the insurance went with it. Now the struggle has become overwhelming for the both of them, and the inability to pay the bills and afford his medications has taken a hit on their spirits.
It breaks my heart to watch them struggle. They are great people with hearts of gold. My hope is to raise money to help alleviate
some of their stress from medical bills, and to lift their spirits so they can get back to living life to the fullest while there's still time.
Donations are appreciated, but kind words and positive thoughts are just as valuable.
