This fundraiser is to help Yuva's in Africa with their travel cost to the International Shri Bhairava Puja in Tanzania, November 2025.

The cost of travel within the African continent is between 50 and 150% higher than travelling from Europe to Tanzania.

EG: European flight costs 500-600 Euros. A flight from Western Africa costs 1,400 - 1,800 Euros.

To enable more yuva's to engage during an international puja is important.

Particularly as travel into Europe or other 'western' countries is near impossible and have even higher obstacles and hurdles for young African's to overcome. Making it near impossible for them be a part of any Puja outside of Africa, They could not even fulfil a desire to visit Cabella and pay respect to Mother as we in the west can take for granted.

This fund raiser is not a hand-out or charity, these are yuva's who are employed and supporting their families, however they cannot build up enough funds to travel across their continent. Particularly as the airlines charge more on the African continent than from Europe or USA/Canada.

African local economies are different to Western countries economies, adding a further obstacle making it harder to reach such an overbearing target.

To allow Sahaja Yoga to grow and develop in Africa, the need to support the younger generation to engage across the continent is vitally important. Also for Yuvas and younger generation to connect with their Brothers and sisters across the world. They are the future and will together make the world as Shri Mataji desires it.

The continent comprises of 54 countries, the continent has an estimated 65% of their population who are under 35 year of age.

27 of the 54 countries have yogis meditating on a regular basis, their collectives range from thousands of yogis to a handful. (see map)

If we are to fulfil Mothers desire to give realisation and spread Sahaja Yoga across the planet, this is the content where we can make a difference to the lives of young seekers on the continent and grow Sahaja Yoga.
