As a child there was nothing my daughter, Jameesa, dreamed of more than motherhood. Her warm heart and nurturing spirit make her so deserving of the role. Sadly, after years of failed attempts (including traditional IVF & a devastating adoption loss) Jameesa has been forced to accept that certain medical conditions will prevent her from ever carrying her own child. It’s been a heartbreaking realization but she is strong and has not lost hope.

Advanced medical technology has allowed she and her wonderful husband, Bryan, a new chance. In October they were able to begin IVF with the assistance of an egg donor. Multiple eggs were retrieved and fertilized. Their next step will be to transfer an embryo into the womb of a gestational surrogate who will carry their baby to birth. Coordinating all these moving parts has taken over one year of exhausting effort and although they were able to secure a $90,000 loan, it wont cover all of their expenses.  Expenses include the medical procedures & monitoring, medications, legal contracts, a parentage order, egg donor compensation, & surrogate compensation.

Recently Jameesa told me she may be forced to sell her car and take on high interest credit cards to cover the excess medical costs. This is when I decided assist them with some finances and ask my friends to do the same. Together, lets provide these two kind and deserving people some relief as they battle infertility and complete their family.
