Yuukis Pelvic Surgery & Recovery Costs

Hello, my name is Araceli im Yuukis owner unfortunately he was involved in a hit and run on Saturday afternoon. I was out of the house running some errands, when they got out of the backyard I’m not too sure how it happened when I made sure the back gate was locked, but around 10pm I got a call from Blue Pearl pet hospital that he was there. They explained that he was found in the bicycle lane in a blanket, and he was brought in by the police department, upon arrival he was very painful and unable to walk. I headed there immediately, we decided to get him some X-rays done and they showed a complicated complete fracture of the left side of his pelvis, it’s in at least 4 pieces and his acetabulum, (the socket part of his hip joint) is shattered. We have yet to get a specialist but they did tell us surgery would be around 7-10k depending on lots of factors and he will need rehabilitation afterwards. I’m not one to usually ask people for money, but this really came at the worst and most unexpected time. I’m currently in school paying for college out of pocket, I work for the state of Arizona but 800 dollars every two weeks barely covers anything with how expensive everything is, I still have rent, utilities, my car, insurance, and so many other things to pay for. My poor baby is in so much pain even though he was prescribed two different kinds of pain medication, it hurts me so much to see him like this he’s only 4 years old I’ve had him since I was 18 and he’s been through so much with me I love him with my whole heart, I can’t bear to see him like this. He’s in so much pain he cries throughout the night and day and shakes from how much he’s hurting to think someone could do this and just leave him on the side of the road.
