On 5/19/2025 Katie suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm followed by a stroke. She was rushed to the University of Maryland Mecial Center for life threatening surgery and is now in critical recovery, fighting every minute with strength and resilience.

Katie is more than just a patient in a hospital bed. She’s a mother, wife, sister, daughter, best-friend, and a bright light with a kind heart. She has always been the first to offer help, and now she needs our help more than ever.
