One less assault weapon

Backstory:

Last week I listed my motorcycle on Craigslist and received the following response:

After speaking with Devin he agreed to surrender the gun and vest to police in exchange for market value. 

I'm raising funds to buy this AR15 and bulletproof vest and surrender it to the police. Not looking for political discourse.

All additional funds raised will be donated to Gun X Gun 

Note: I will not sell my bike to him and will not benefit from this in anyway manner.
