Endometriosis Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Klara. I’m 22 years old, a full-time student, and I live with a painful, invisible illness called endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, scarring, and excruciating pain. For women with this condition, that pain becomes unbearable during the menstrual cycle—I often have to miss work, school, and put my entire life on hold for nearly a week each month.
This disease is widely misunderstood and frequently dismissed. The average diagnosis takes about 7 years—mine took almost 5 years. Despite being incredibly common, there’s no cure, and many treatment options only offer temporary relief. However, there is hope: excision surgery, performed by a specialist, can remove the tissue and provide lasting relief.
As someone juggling school and a part-time job, this surgery feels financially out of reach—but it’s something I’m hoping will help me reclaim my life and more importantly my ENERGY. If you feel moved to help in any way, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, I would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit brings me one step closer to kickin this chronic disease’s ass.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting me.
