Saturday October 14th 2023 was a heartbreaking day for our family.
God's angels have taken our dad to a blessed place where pain and suffering are obsolete and the existence of agony and discomfort are nonexistent. As many of you know, our dad Yuriy, has gone through so much throughout his 70 years of life. Yuriy faced many sicknesses and health problems, however he still was the person we went to when we needed help, comfort, or advice. Through thick and thin his family was always his number one priority. He would put his wife Galina, and his four sons Ruslan, Roman, Robert, and Daniel; before himself any chance he could. Our dad was a humble man and his doors remained open to anyone and everyone. If you are reading this and you remember his hospitality, you would agree he had a genuine love and excitement for gatherings. Our dad enjoyed 3 main things: fishing, cooking and eating the food he cooked. Yuriy always had a story to tell, and it was endlessly interesting, you would almost always find yourself on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next. We will miss those stories that dad told and we will miss his phone calls asking us to stop by for dinner or making sure we got home safely. Our dad Yuriy fought for many years with leukemia and end stage liver failure. He leaves behind a family that will never forget his remarkable presence. Our family is creating this page to help our Mom Galina eliminate the need to worry or fear about finances while grieving her late husband and best friend.
Please do not feel pressured, if anything...Yuriy would want all of you reading this to know that he is happy in heaven and misses every single one of you.
Funeral service date and time will be updated shortly and shared with friends and family. Thank you.
