My name is Jeff Tymkow, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Roger for 15 years. Roger and Yuri, married for 23 years, are a devoted couple with two beautiful daughters who mean the world to them. Their family has faced unimaginable challenges recently, and they need our support to navigate the road ahead.

Yuri has been courageously battling a severe lung infection that turned their lives upside down. She endured 38 grueling days in the hospital, undergoing two major surgeries. Despite the pain and uncertainty, Yuri’s resilience shines through. She’s now regaining her strength and relearning to walk, determined to return to her vibrant self for her family.

However, Yuri’s journey to recovery is far from over. She must travel to Guadalajara to consult with a renowned lung specialist, Dr. Gerardo Rea M., for critical follow-up tests. This week, Yuri will undergo a vital lung scan, the results of which will guide her ongoing treatment. Unfortunately, Mexico’s medical system does not cover the costs of these scans, specialist visits, or associated travel expenses, placing a heavy financial burden on the family.
