Hello, my name is Brendan Levingston. My friends and coworkers and I are attempting to raise money in an effort to help our dear and beloved friend and colleague Mr. Yuri Tarankov.

Mr. Tarankov is the father of three boys and a daughter. He exemplifies and personifies hard work, dedication, independence, and integrity.

Yuri was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and it has taken a toll on his mind, body, and his family. It pains all of us to see the Tarankovs have to go through this, and only a few years removed from the earthquake that rocked Anchorage in November of 2018, in which his house burned down with everything he owned inside of it.

Seeing Yuri bounce back from that with the singular focus that he had, building his own new house from the ground up, summarized Yuri perfectly as he has always been a beacon of hard work and dedication to the task at hand.

He has given so much to those around him on a daily basis, always willing to impart what knowledge he had to the next guy, taking charge where he needed to, delegating work as needed or jumping in and doing the work himself, Yuri is never afraid and his faith in God is never in question. We all just want to be here for Yuri in his time of need and hope to raise money to help pay for his medical bills and to help ease the financial burden that may be incurred from these recent events.
