Message from Yumwoof Founders:
The recent tragedy in Maui has left countless families and their pets devastated. Amidst the chaos, at least 3,000 dogs are currently displaced, waiting to be reunited with their families.
Yumwoof, in partnership with ROAM Maui, Shep Gordon and Maui Humane Society, is stepping up to provide aid.
Yumwoof has quickly taken action and made a donation of our dog food to the Maui Humane Society. We are now searching for donors who can help us send more food.
Our Commitment:
- Yumwoof has donated 500 bags worth a retail value of $33k in dog food being shipped by ROAM Maui on August 30th. As a smaller brand, this is a major donation—and hopefully just the beginning for us.
- Near-Term Goal: Raise an additional $60k to send 2,400 bags in September. We will provide bags at our cost and will not be taking a profit
Why It Matters:
The Maui wildfire, burning at temperatures that reached 1,000° F degrees, is the deadliest of its kind in the U.S. in more than 100 years. The aftermath:
- Estimated 500 to 1,000 deaths.
- Over 3,000 dogs are displaced from their families.
- Families have lost everything and cannot feed their dogs. Furthermore, many dogs are separated from their loved ones who must be fed by others, hoping to be reconnected to their families through the Maui Humane Society.

We are raising a charity gift with a goal of $60K to send more dog food to the Maui Humane Society in September.

Please proceed with a charity gift on this GoFundMe we have created for this earmarked fundraise. 100% of your gift will be used to send more dog food to the Maui Humane Society at our cost. Yumwoof will not make a profit on these contributions.
