YULIN DOG 2025 RESCUE:

Ok, TB3 fam, we heard you. We reached out to our safe haven manager after the outpouring of support and told her we were going to save a few pups headed for Yulin. She, then got in contact with her friends across China and they told us about these 5 dogs in Nanning, supposed to arrive in Yulin tomorrow.

What is the Yulin Dog Meat “Festival”? It’s a 10 day event in yulin (June 20-30) where they will murder about 10,000 dogs for FOOD. This happens annually. But it’s a small festival compared to the atrocities and murder dogs face across China annually. It’s reported 35 million are brutally slaughtered annually for food. And that’s just what’s reported…. We think it has to be tripe that…

We originally said 3 dogs…. But we’re going to take 5. There are 4 corgis (you can’t even see the 1 because they’re all smashed into 1 cage ) and this poodle mix. We know nothing about them. Nothing.

Our safe haven manager called a driver asap as it’s a nearly 24 hour drive to get them…. We sent $750 for the driver to pick up the dogs and bring them back to Beijing. He’s en route.

These dogs are probably not taken care of, don’t have vaccines etc. We anticipate it will cost around $2,500 USD PER DOG for medical. We raised nearly $2,000 yesterday. That will cover almost 1 dog.

We also rescued Lady the corgi late last week as she was heading for Yulin.
