My house was robbed

Hi my name is Rodger and my home was burglarized. It was suggested that I start a Go Fund Me page to at least recoup the money so I can get another bike to ride in the Great Cycle Challenge.

I have done so for the last three years and raised money for childhood cancer research.

I started riding a bicycle during Covid and ordered a new bike ( one that would fit me) to ride in the GCC.

It took almost 2 years because during Covid, bikes were hard to come by.

Last year was the first year I was able to ride my new bike in the Challenge.

The bike was everything I had hoped it would be. Light, fast and it fit!!

Well, my house was broken into and although there were heirlooms and other expensive items stolen, I would just like to raise enough funds to get another bike like the one that was stolen.

Although I'll never be able to get another frame quite like the one my bike had ( high gloss black with rainbow metal flake in the paint), I'll take whatever color is available in the Trek Domane SL 7 series is offered at the time.

I am a man of modest means and wouldn't have been able to afford such a high-end bike had they not offered interest free payments.

So, if you are able and can afford to donate I would certainly appreciate it as would my other team members Team Joe Strong. I ride for Joe who was taken by this insidious disease three years ago in November.
