Running half marathon to buy a community defibrillator

We're taking part in this years great scottish run by completing the half marathon on Sunday 6th October. This is to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator for use in emergencies within the local community.

This will be located outside Martin's bowling club, Pollokshaws Bowling Club just next to Pollok Park. The defibrillator will be purchased from the British Heart Foundation a charity important to us.

Heart emergencies can happen unexpectedly at any time and having access to a defibrillator can save a life.

Martin suffered a heart attack at 22 and was fitted with an internal defibrillator in 2018.

We hope to raise enough money to purchase a community defibrillator to help save lives in emergencies. Any donations are appreciated.
