My mom, Sharon, has always been the kind of person who quietly carries the weight of life’s challenges with strength and grace. Now she is facing another difficult chapter.
She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo surgery to remove her breast and lymph nodes followed by radiation treatment starting April 14th (postponed due to another biopsy).
Sharon has already endured tremendous loss. She cared for my father through his long and devastating battle with ALS. That fight left her financially strained, and over the years she has also faced the heartbreaking loss of both her son and daughter. Despite these unimaginable hardships, she has remained strong, resilient, and deeply caring toward everyone around her.
During her surgery and recovery, I will be taking a leave from work so I can be there in Texas to help care for her. We are asking for support to help cover basic expenses during this time, including food, out of pocket medical bills, and rent.
Any support, a small donation, or even just sharing this page would be greatly appreciated.
