Hello!
My name is Yuca (he/they), and I am a nonbinary transmasc human who can finally make a big step in their transition and get Top Surgery!
Surgery is scheduled for December 23rd, 2022!
- And they are in need of supplementary funds for rent and supplies for the healing journey
They have been working hard as full-time student at UW Madison WI, majoring in Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology, and after almost 3 years, finally secured a housing situation that has also presented financial setbacks. Can't heal properly if you have no place to heal! While housing needs have been met, they have been experiencing financial setbacks that are impacting their ability to gather funds and items needed for a successful top surgery recovery. Between the intensity of school and living situation, they could really use a little relief and security knowing that their housing situation throughout recovery will remain stable, and that they will have what they need for the recovery process.
This is a huge moment for them because of the many hoops they have had to jump through while navigating the healthcare field with the genetic connective tissue disorder Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
