Aid for Roman's Medical Journey

My name is Douglas Knepp. I am a teacher in West Sacramento and I am asking for help for the family of a former student. Their new baby Roman is in intensive care with respiratory issues. Please donate what you can to help with costs.

Update:

Currently, little Roman is on an ECMO machine. This machine is designed to do the job for his struggling lungs. It pulls blood out of the body to oxygenate it and then pumps the oxygenated blood back in.

The goal is to allow the lungs the time to recover and hopefully begin to function effectively independently of mechanized assistance.

We got a positive update! If you look at the image above, you will notice that the most recent x-ray (on the left), the lungs are looking much clearer. Thank you for your prayers and support!

Roman is doing better! He is off of the ECMO machine and, although he is still on oxygen, he has opened his eyes. I want to thank all of you for your continued prayers and support!
