Save a Warrior program for Patrick

My name is Patrick and I've served in the Australian Army for 15yrs now. I've completed 9 tours including East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan and have had the fortune of having complete job satisfaction whilst working with some of the best men and women within the defence force (and other country's defence forces) possible. Alongside the positives, I've seen the horrible realities of war and have lost a number of mates not only in combat but also at home on their own struggle to cope with the transition.
This has all come at a cost to my health and my family, and 2 years ago I was diagnosed with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and major depression as well as multiple physical injuries and conditions. I have completed multiple programs at inpatient hospitals and work regularly with a handful of psychologists and health care workers with the aim of getting to a functional ability. My partner Laura has been beyond supportive from the beginning and is the one who sees and experiences everything that I go through. Just recently, my dog Sunny received his 'L plates' as a companion dog and his training alongside his own needs keep me busy. My son Brody, and my ex-wife Pam, have also been affected by my PTSD and has taken a toll on their lives as well but also remain one of my biggest supporters over the many years. My immediate family (plus Oscar the cat) and are the ones that cop the immediate brunt of my issues and see me at my worst.
My goal is to get back to a happy, functioning individual once more. A mate I served with is flying over to America to complete the 'Save a Warrior' program and is strongly encouraging me to participate as a different treatment option.
"Save A Warrior is an innovative, evidence-based program that provides a powerful healing experience for Active Duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders who are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress."
I'm hoping to raise the funds to cover the return flight from Sydney, Australia to Kansas, USA. The program itself is fully sponsored and paid for. Any extra money raised will be donated to the Save a Warrior program for their use.
I want to get better and move on with my life. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
