Help Ted

Teddy lost his person Sam. I have lost my person before, all of a sudden, and the pain and confusion it causes is mind boggling and relentless. Because he was Sam's person, the worrying about what to do financially overwhelms the senses and prevents grieving. Our Ted needs persons' now.
When I first saw the chatter about this on FB, I could not make sense of what had just happened. I knew Ted's sister Faye was very sick, I knew Ted was very sick. Slowly I figured out that the death happened to Ted somehow, and then I had the first panic attack I have ever had in my life. I can't even explain why. But I do know that Ted is the person who I have known the longest in my life. Even longer than my beloved brother Chris. Losing old friends you grew up with is like losing the same past one loses when losing a sibling. Ted and I know that feeling all too well.
The one thing I do know is that our ole' "Dazed and Confused" gang is Huntsville Strong. We may not have liked each other back then, or hung out with people back then, but we all know or have heard of each other. And now we have graduated from that club into the club we've managed to attain, the "more time in the back of the cart then the front of the cart" that Mellancamp sang about and we laughed about...yet here we are. And some of us need more help then others...
Ted didn't need help, he had a person. He doesn't now. Literally over night. I am going to be one of his persons. He is alone now. And sick. And feeling helpless. I am in the process of starting a go fund me page for help. Any help. He has immediate needs: cremation cost, making a payment on their just bought and financed car, and help with just stuff for the next few months so that he can at least not worry about that.
If anyone can figure out ways to help our guy Ted, message me.
