Hi , my name is Patti . I am asking for any kind of help for a dear friend and her family.

After a trip to the ER , discovering a blood clot and a failed attempt to dissolve it , Joan was faced with the horrifying reality of losing her leg . In the process she learned of her stage 3 colon cancer and that it has spread to her lymph nodes.

With two major life changing illnesses and a long road to recovery, devastation sets in ! The bills are overwhelming . The pain is overwhelming the fear of the cancer spreading and never recovering is taking its toll!

The fear of never being self sufficient has become a major factor!

After her first trip on 4/4 Then Enduring two major surgeries … colon cancer resulting in an Ostomy bag for 8 months , chemo and the amputation of her right leg , Joan still worked as hard as she could from her hospital bed ! Nevertheless, many clients walked away. The loss of this work at her busiest time has left a huge ,negative impact , not only on Joan and her family financially but on her recovery!

They could really use some help right now ! Finally being released on 5/10 . Now the hard part starts ! Simple chores , laundry , cooking ! Cleaning etc…. The house is not handicap accessible! Everything will need adjustments or complete redos !

The long road to recovery has only begun !
