Hello All,

My name is Victor Alexander Gonzalez and my dad Victor Gonzalez has suffered a second stroke. His first stroke was in August 2012.  He lost the ability to hold a convesation and lost entire feeling to his right side of his body. My father had no medical insurance due to his company laying off employees. My mother took on the medical bills and paid for them out of pocket. My younger brother and I helped him with his speech therapy. Three years later his speech had improved and is able to use his entire right side of his body despite not feeling anything. He was denied state assistance and disability, we tried to fight it for years but we gave up.

My parents since have divorced, my father and younger brother are living with my grandmother. He still gets no assistance from the state nor disability.

On Novemeber 16th 2015, I received a call that my father suffered another stroke. Thankfully his body did not crash like his first stroke. We are still waiting for results to numerous tests done to him. I have created this page to raise money for his medical bills, my grandmother is retired and cannot afford to pay his medical bills. For those that have met my father, he was a giver, anything anyone ever needed he made sure they were taken care of, I hope the favor is returned . He was a firm believer on treating others the way you wanted to be treated.
