I am raising funds to dedicate a public park bench to Yu Menglong, whose sudden passing in September 2025 deeply affected people in China and around the world.

Yu Menglong was a talented Chinese actor, singer, and creative artist, admired for both his work and his reputation for kindness and generosity.

His death drew widespread public attention in China, particularly as discussions about the case were subject to online restrictions. While official statements concluded that his death was an accidental fall, the limited availability of public information has left many fans and observers with questions and concerns.

This bench is intended as a place to remember Yu Menglong and to keep his story alive. After seeing someone in the UK create a similar public memorial, I was inspired to do the same.

Funds raised will be used to commission and install a memorial bench in a public park in British Columbia, Canada, for a period of 10 years, with the option to renew at the end of that term.
