Healing for Terry
Donation protected
November 23:
Please keep praying! Following another surgery for wound debridement, Uncle Terry suffered a possible stroke today. Currently, he has lost most use of his right side and is not able to communicate verbally. We are sad and frustrated to report that the care coordination and oversight of his case has been severely lacking. The goal remains for him to progress to the point of being able to transfer to TBI rehabilitation.
We will keep updating you here when we can. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

A Message from Heather:
On 10/26 my Dad was in a terrible accident in NJ. His truck broke down next to the median and when he tried to cross the road he was hit by a truck.
This happened 4 days after Adam & I, and the kids moved to TN. It’s been very hard not being able to physically be there for my parents, especially since Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.
He suffered a traumatic brain injury (3 brain bleeds), broken ribs, and a partially collapsed lung. But, GOD! He’s alive and making some progress, but still has a very long road ahead of him. Our family has received an outpouring of prayers and messages since this nightmare happened 27 days ago and for that we are so thankful! Please keep praying, it is far from over.
He is currently waiting to be transferred to a brain injury rehabilitation center, but there have been some delays and miscommunication on that. So please pray for fast progress there and for better communication between medical staff.
My Dad has overcome alot in his life and it’s been so hard to see him go through something like this. But faith over fear is how we get through hard times when the future is unknown.
Friends and family have reached out to ask if there’s anything they can do.
If you feel led, please consider donating to the gofundme page that has been set up for my parents. This will help with expenses directly related to my Dad’s medical care and most importantly getting him the cognitive care that he needs. (Which we’re finding out that traumatic brain injury hospitalization and rehabilitation is a very long, expensive road …)
Please share and continue praying, we are so thankful for each and every one of you! ❤️
Hug your family tight this Thanksgiving!!!

Please consider donating to my aunt and uncle, Terry and Cheryl Hogate, with the goal of helping them on their long road of traumatic brain injury recovery.
On October 26th, Uncle Terry was in an accident that resulted in multiple injuries including severe brain injury, broken bones and a partially collapsed lung. He underwent major brain surgery to save his life and is currently awaiting placement in a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Hospital.
We are raising money in an effort to get him to the place best suited to meet his cognitive needs and to assist my aunt while she is unable to work in order to provide the necessary support he will need in his care moving forward.
We appreciate any donation, none is too small. Please keep them and their families in your prayers as they navigate the unknown. We will do our very best to keep you updated on this page throughout his healing journey.
With lots of love and gratitude,
