Help save Jorah Lafty

Donation protected
Everyone who knows my sister, Seana, knows that her cat Jorah is like a child to her. So when Jorah started acting out of character, recently (diarrhea, dizziness, losing fur), Seana became increasingly concerned. After several doctor visits and testing (costing over $3,000), Seana’s worse fears were confirmed and Jorah was diagnosed with Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), a viral disease that occurs worldwide in wild and domestic cats. It is caused by a type of virus called a coronavirus, which tends to attack the cells of the intestinal wall.

Jorah is already showing signs of decline and has been diagnosed with 2 weeks to live,  2 months at the most.

After speaking with a representative at the veterinary hospital where Jorah was diagnosed, Seana learned of an experimental drug that is showing great promise. The treatment will cost $6,000 and the price increases as he gains his weight back.

If you know my sister you know how truly generous and kind she is, especially to those who she is close with. She does so much for others and asks for nothing in return and it kills me seeing her in pain, knowing that there is an option out there that can possibly save Jorah. Please consider helping Seana with medical expenses and treatment in order to save Jorah’s life.
