Hi y'all, I'm Hollie Youngs, 36 years old, Mother of 3, wife of an amazing hard working husband Vic. Back in October of 2022 I had went and seen a dermatologist due to a spot on my nose that I have had far longer than I would like to admit, due to not having insurance at the time. They immediately did a biopsy (hurt like hell) and discovered yes it is skin cancer - basil cell carcinoma. In order to remove the skin cancer they have to do a procedure called Mohs surgery. That cute and removes the cancer on my nose/face until there is no longer cancer cells left seen under the microscope. Hoping and praying it hasn't spread any further than where it is under the skin. Unfortunately they don't know how much needs to be removed until the time of the surgery. I received a call this morning from the ENT nurse informing me that I would need to pay $2,698.44 by January 15, 2022 in order to perform this surgery. Otherwise they will not be able to do the surgery. I have already been so nervous and scared and my stomach has been in knots since we found out this diagnosis. Insurance has already covered what it could. This is what we have to come up with out of pocket in two weeks time. Please
