Hi, my name is Maria and I’m reaching out for some help for some of the most important people in my life.
On Thursday February 9th my nephew Scott discovered after many tests and scans that the bumps on his head were actually bone tumors and would require major cranial surgery. This surgery is needed to remove the tumors but he will also have to have mesh placed into the places of his skull that have been destroyed by them. The surgery will be at the beginning of March in Springfield and will require his family to get him back and forth to many appointments, causing them to miss work and will place a strain on all of them financially. This surgery is going to be very crucial to his continued health and well being.
Scott is 20 years old and just starting to build his life. He currently lives with his parents in Lincoln & works full time at McDonalds. He has goals of someday starting school, having a career, and spending as much time with his family as possible. Friends, when I tell you that this kid is the most loving, kind, respectful young man, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. His hobbies include gaming, knife collecting, and spending time with his family. He will be out of work for at least a minimum of 6 weeks, his mothers plan to care for him during this time which will place a financial strain on the family. Our biggest hope is that this surgery provides Scott with the best outcomes possible and he will be able to continue building his life as he moves forward and heals. Ranee and I are asking for your help to help them offset the costs of travel, medical expenses, and loss of work as they move through this challenging time. They have ALWAYS been our right hand during our times of need, they never hesitate to stop their world to help us when we need it and now they need our help. If you are able, please help us get Scott healed up and back on track. We love him and look forward to watching him grow into the beautiful human we know he is.
