We all know how the saying goes....”A DOG IS MAN'S BESTFRIEND'....Well in my case, this most certainly applies!!
Hugo is a six year old Border Collie, in desperate need of a Carpal Arthrodosis. In human terms, he has an evulsion fracture to his front right wrist, meaning the ligament has detached itself from the bone, causing excruciating pain when exercised.
Hugo is my shadow, my best friend & my work buddy! I am a dog walker, which means he is usually with me all day at work but since his recent injury he has been unable to join me or his doggy friends, which is causing him to become seriously depressed.
Without surgery, Hugo is sadly unable to be walked off lead for more than 10 minutes at a time. As you can imagine, a working Border Collie on box rest for the last three months has not been easy and is beginning to effect him both physically & mentally.
The Royal Veterinary College have quoted £5,000 to perform this specialised surgery.
Hugo is insured, however his front leg is sadly exempt from his insurance policy. Without your help I just do not have the funds to pay for this specialised/fiddly treatment.
Personal circumstances, have left me without savings and ultimately no financial support to fall back on. Which is heartbreaking as he truely is my best friend.
Thank you so much in advance for taking your time to read both mine and Hugo’s story....any donations would be massively appreciated and will be life changing for the both of us.
Please help me help Hugo!!
