Yale Terrace Brewery (YTB)
We are life long friends looking to make this dream of opening our own brewery & tasting room a reality.
We already have had a few investors but still need your help!
UPDATE :
Since starting this "Go Fund ME" page, things are moving at a great pace. We have received zoning approval, have secured a location in Cranford New Jersey, purchased equipment, launched our web site www.yaleterracebrewery.com and are getting ready to start our renovations !

Currently have 4 main staple beers and 4 seasonal beers. Our special limited time only beers will be offered throughout the year also.
The $50,000 funding that we are seeking will be used for all expenses and eventual expansion to a larger system of brewing.

YTB will offer tours of our brewing process and customers will be able to purchase pints of our unique quality beers along with growlers of beer to go. YTB will eventually expand and distribute to retail stores and bars everywhere!
WHERE IT BEGAN (Our Story and Dedication) :
Over 25 years ago Yale Terrace Brewery founder Peter Merrigan began his hobby of brewing craft beers from his parent’s basement on Yale Terrace in West Orange, New Jersey.
As his new hobby began he teamed up with his friend Tom Brisco (also from Yale Terrace) and many of their friends and family became the taste testing guinea pigs for all of their new craft beer creations. Two of the earlier and more successful beers created were a porter named Dr.WU’s Maple Porter (named after his cat) and an Ale called Fudgie’s Brown Ale. Taste testing guinea pigs have said that Fudgie’s was a pretty good tasting ale. However, many liked the name more than the beer itself. (What did they know anyway?) Both of these creations needed to be perfected if this hobby of brewing beer was to become something much bigger.
Determined to succeed, Pete continued perfecting his skills in craft beer brewing over the years and reconnected with Tom in 2005 when they began brewing together again. Rob was recently added to the mix not only for his love of beer but for his eagerness to learn the brewing process and to help out with their business promotions and Vinny Savinelli with his life long experience in the restaurant business was added to complete this successful partnership.
With over 35+ years combined craft brewing experience and numerous successful beers created, Yale Terrace Brewery (YTB) was born. YTB is dedicated to producing fresh, flavorful beers of many varieties using the finest ingredients for the enjoyment of every palate.
Yale Terrace in West Orange New Jersey brought many friends together for many generations. West Orange New Jersey is famous for Thomas A. Edison and his inventions... Yale Terrace will be famous for creating unique quality beers... from grain to glass.
