Hi Friends! We have a family from our church that needs our help. Alicia McCoy's husband, Chuck, was in a terrible accident July 5th and has suffered major damage to his body. It is going to take time for him to heal which will prevent him from working for the next 3 to 6 months. He is self employed, no insurance and is the family's sole provider. He has three little children Nevaeh, Charlie and Anna. Please pray for this family's healing, peace and comfort during this time. If you feel led to help support them financially, they would be blessed beyond measure. When I asked for permission to set up this campaign, here is what Chuck said "we need help and I cant let my pride get in the way of that." " Thank you so much and we appreciate your love and support!"
Here is Chuck's story: He was out with his brother, riding a quad. He had just plugged his phone in the car to charge and went out. He was going around a corner and lost control of the vehicle, flew over a water revine, separated from the quad and slammed into the ground, rolled his whole body 2-3 times. He was by himself for about 20 minutes before he actually got up. He said he was so scared and thought he was going to die. He said all he kept thinking about was Alicia and the kids..... determined not to leave them behind without a father and a husband, he walked over a mile until he got where he saw his brother. He called for help about 40 times before anyone heard him. The ambulance came took him to the ER, where they took over 1,000 images. The nurse told Alicia whatever happened, he hit hard and he was lucky to not have a collapsed lung. When the ER doc came out he informed them that he had multiple broken bones in 3 major areas.... his ribs, his sternum, and his back. They transferred him to the trauma unit at another hospital. As of right now they know that he has to wear a brace for 3 months.... they are saying that he cant work with the brace on and also that he might need physical therapy after the 3 months depending on his healing progress.
Also, when he was out walking to get help, he told Alicia he kept telling himself, I'm not going to die. .. I'm not going to die. He said "something" was out there looking over him ..... Alicia informed him that it wasn't something....IT WAS GOD! Alicia is praying for life change in his heart.

Here is a conversation Alicia had with God while sitting next to her husband in the hospital overwhelmed with uncertainty: As I sit here next to him my mind racing..... "what's going to happen?" "What are we going to do?" "I dont know if I can do this...."And I'm so thankful I have Jesus in my life. ..... he answers... all these questions instantly.......
Me: Whats going to happen?
Jesus: Don't worry Alicia, I love you and Chuck. I have a plan for the both of you. Trust me!
Me: What are we going to do?
Jesus: Alicia, I am your provider.... no one else. I have always made a way for you and your family and will continue to do so. Remember, Alicia, your ways are not my ways, darling. And your thoughts, baby girl, are not my thoughts. Trust me, daughter.... Trust Me.
Me: I dont know if I can do this.....
Jesus: Apart from me you cannot. Cling to me, trust me, lean on me, abide in me, let me be your pilot, put me first. I WANT TO TAKE CARE OF YOU....... please let me! I love you, daughter, more than you could ever know or imagine..... and please remember, with God, who I am, all things are possible.... ALL THINGS!
Bless you in advance for your prayers, love and support of the McCoy Family!
