Hi, I'm Kingston, an 18yr old who has Number of caps ( 5) for Northern Ireland in the game of wheelchair football. I am a wheelchair user myself and am still in education. I have found huge benefit playing sports and connecting with people. My mental health improved as did my social skills. As a result I have set up Brownstown Bears, a small football team for people aged between 14 and 18. The aim is to provide a safe and sociable space for young people in the hope that they will choose to play sports and develop a support network over partaking of substances that have a negative impact on their lives. The funding will be used to fund the hire of premises, kit , football tournaments
