Fund a Kidney

Donation protected
Andres M. Superable, my dad, was diagnosed with Renal Cancer in 2008 and had been undergoing dialysis since 2011. In August 2012, he underwent surgery to remove his left kidney, where the cancer was located. Right now, he is cancer free but still need to continue dialysis three times a week. All his medical bills are being shouldered by the State of Illinois and which our family is thankful of. We tried to get him on the list for kidney transplant but due to his age and condition, we were told that the only way he could get a kidney was if we could provide our own live donor. Unfortunately, my siblings and I couldn’t be donors since we too have medical problems of our own, which disqualify us to be donors for him. It is very hard to get a live donor here in United States unless you are in the transplant list. As of this moment, he would get more chances in getting a live donor if he goes home to the Philippines, where he served the Philippine Military and Police for a total of 36 years, but that would mean that we would provide for all expenses (tests, surgery, travel, lodging, medication and other miscellaneous expenses. My dad is retired and don’t have any income. My dad and mom lives with me, and I’m doing my best to provide for him and my mom. I am appealing to your good hearts to help us out. Please help us in making this kidney transplant to happen. May God bless you for the kindness you will show to my dad and my family.
