Makaylas South Africa Mission Trip

Hello, my name is Makayla Krutsch and I am writing in hopes to raise funds for a mission trip to George, South Africa.  I am 17 years old and a junior at Marysville High School. I will be attending this trip for 3 weeks in June with my mentor Laura Kastein for an organization called Life Communities. Your contribution will be going toward airfare, travel to and from George, as well as food and housing expenses. I will need the funds by May 25th at the latest, but ideally May 15th for planning. Life Communities feeds around 2,500 children from the surrounding townships three times a week. I will be helping with the cooking and delivering of this food, and may help with the distribution of clothing and foot washing. Throughout the three weeks I will have plenty of time to love on, spend time, and play with these children while sharing the love of Jesus with them. Laura and I hope to teach some bible lessons to the children as well! I would also have the opportunity to spend a day in the schools. Through this I will be able to learn how a non-profit organization operates and equips the natives to succeed and overcome the financial barriers of poverty they experience. This trip is greatly important to me because of my passion for Jesus and children! In the future I hope to be a neonatal nurse and do medical missionary work around the globe. I have been praying and preparing my heart and I can't wait to see how God works not only through me but also in me.
