Smart Family Fire

On March 26th, our beloved Martin experienced a devastating fire that resulted in the loss of his home and all of his belongings. Fortunately, both Martin and his dog were able to make it out safely. Unfortunately, the house and all of his belongings are a total loss. To make matters worse, there was no insurance coverage, leaving Martin with the daunting task of starting from scratch.

With no insurance, rebuilding is going to be tough but together we have come up with a plan. We first need to clear the land of what remains of the house and purchase a mobile home that Martin can live in until he is able to rebuild.

Martin is a veteran and is still recovering from some severe health issues that he experienced last year. Anyone who knows Martin, knows his house and all the projects he likes to complete around it, are his sanctuary. Martin has been an employee of the Hot Club for over 30 years, and a lot of the additions to his house were actually completed by him, with materials salvaged from Hot Club remodels as well as materials left over from other projects. Martin also has a beautiful garden and is the master of bonfire's. Getting Martin and his dog back on his property where he can process all of this as comfortably as possible is the goal!

How Funds Will Be Used:

- Clearing and preparing the land for reconstruction

- Purchasing a mobile home and restoring basic necessities

- Assist in rebuilding his home
