Richard’s Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On February 1st while out enjoying a snowmobile ride with friends, Richard hit a frozen chunk of ice, lost control of his sled and suffered a serious accident which resulted in him being airlifted to the Ottawa Civic hospital. Upon having a CT scan, we learned that he had broken his back along with two of his ribs. The amazing surgeons at the hospital spent 7 hours rebuilding his spine with plates and screws. During the surgery they also discovered that Rich had suffered a tear in his spinal cord from his shattered L2.
There is a long road ahead and recovery will be slow but if you know Rich, you know how determined he can be! While we don’t know just how long it will take, we do know that he will need months and months of rehab to try and get him back on his feet.
Costs are sure to add up and this is where you can help. If you would like to contribute to his recovery fund, in any amount, we would be most grateful! All funds will go towards covering expenses so he can focus on getting better!
On behalf of Richard and our family we sincerely Thank You for your support and well wishes!
