You may or may have not heard about a 9 yr old boy named Logan, that just a few weeks ago was a healthy 9 yr old. Logans fight started on dec 14 th his mom took Logan to the local  vcu Ed since he was throwing up and not looking well. When she  got there his blood sugar was 7 and he was hypothermic. They stabilized his blood sugar and sent him by ambulance to vcu. As soon as we got to vcu they saw that he needed a liver transplant and immediately helicoptered him to Georgetown pediatric icu in dc. He was put on a vent. His liver started to improve while there but other organs started to fail ( kidneys. Lungs) and on Christmas night a few hours after they took him off the vent he had multiple cardiac arrests and they performed cpr and put him back on the vent.  A nun stood by his bed. Georgetown then sent him childrens national cardiac pediatric icu by ambulance. He had chest tubes placed to drain fluid off the lungs. Logan is confused and agitated at being in the hospital. He is off the vent again and breathing on his own ( thankfully)  however His heart keeps giving off strange extra beats and he is at  very high risk for another cardiac event. All the while stumping the doctors at each hospital  on what caused this and why he at all remains sick with new issues popping up daily.. His mother Melissa is only able to stay at a nearby hotel, she is living off of no sleep and tea. And with all the medical cost, hotel cost, and the unknown we are asking for any amount to help if your unable to we ask for ALL the Prayers you can give.
