In memory of Kiya Sexton

Precious Daughter, Sister, Mother, and friend to many, Kiya Lynn Sexton went home to be with The Lord on February 10. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 27.

This lovely young lady could take your breath away with her beauty and flamboyant style, But more importantly, she could capture your heart with her genuine warmth and love for everyone she met. She was one of a kind, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Kiya was a brilliant and passionate artist, and had made the recent decision to dedicate her time and talent to a career as an artist, Kiya had many talents and many opportunities and goals that she was achieving. She was on her way to taking the Art world by storm for a specific reason - to make a better life for her son. Kiya lived for her son, Josiah.

Kiya was a hard worker and loved by many especially at her current job where she showed how much she loved helping people and how much they loved her.

She loved her family and cherished her friends, but Josiah was her everything. She was seriously pursuing her dream of being a respected Artist, and we all know that when Kiya set her mind to doing something, she could conquer the world.

The family is overcome with sadness at the loss of wonderful Kiya, and overwhelmed with the task at hand of giving her a proper sendoff. Since her passing was unexpected, they are asking for financial assistance for funeral expenses and aftercare for Josiah.
