£860 raised of

Ysgol Saltney Ferry

We are kindly asking for any donations to support the development of our outdoor learning provision across the school site.

Schools across Flintshire and Wales are having to make difficult decisions to make financial cuts. All schools are struggling to avoid a budget deficit and want to ensure they continue to deliver quality learning experiences.

With your donations, we would be putting them toward re-developing our Forest School area, outdoor well-being area for year 5/6 and nature pathway that will enable all learners to explore more areas of the site throughout the year.

The impact of our planned projects would certainly benefit the health and well-being of all our current and future learners.

We are proud of the already developing outdoor learning experiences our school offer, one being our developing school farm. We are the first CPH registered farm school in North Wales, working closely with several organisations to develop farming experiences and embed agriculture in our curriculum. We already have our own flock of rescue hens and growing herd of pygmy goats. Pupils are finding their own sustainable and adventurous ways to raise funds for the farm and are eagerly wanting to expand their collection of animals.

Thank you for any contributions toward us continuing to deliver a caring and nurturing environment
