Ysgol Glan Morfa Outdoor Areas

Ysgol Glan Morfa is a Welsh Language Primary School situated in the Splott area of Cardiff providing education for pupils from ages 3-11.

We are excited to announce a sponsored event that will be taking place on the 4th of April 2025, aimed at raising funds for enhancing our outdoor areas. This special occasion will be a Walkathon, an initiative that encourages physical activity while fostering community spirit.

All classes, from Nursery to Year 6, will take it in turns to participate throughout the day. Each class will be assigned a specific distance to walk, within our local community contributing to the collective effort of the entire school. The format will involve pupils walking consistently, with each class tagging the next to ensure a seamless and engaging experience. It promises to be a lively day filled with enthusiasm and collaboration as we come together for a shared purpose.

Your support will greatly assist in raising much needed funds necessary to improve our outdoor facilities, allowing our children to enjoy a more enriching environment during their playtime and outdoor learning experiences.
