Support for Kal-El's Family in Their Time of Loss

My name is Tatianna, I’m a close friend of Tamara Ebanks. It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Kal-El Azari Orion Ebanks, a bright and beautiful 4-year-old boy who was just two months shy of his 5th birthday.

Kal-El was a radiant light in his family’s life — a nonverbal autistic child who was beginning to find his voice in the world. He loved to draw, play with his sisters, Serenity and Felicity, and he had a special bond with his mom, who was his safe place, his comfort, and his world.

Though his passing was unexpected, the family has chosen to keep the details private. What we do know is that this has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of those who loved him.

We are raising $10,000 to help Kal-El’s family cover the costs of his funeral and to support his mom as she navigates life with her two remaining children, one of whom is also autistic. This support will help ease the financial burden during this devastating time and allow them space to grieve and begin to heal.
